When our own calendar permits, we can do the cooking for you in our own kitchen (pictured above), where we make organic meals, home-baked breads and cakes, side dishes, fresh-ground coffee, and much more.
We cook with organic vegetables picked from our own garden. We procure our other ingredients from the best sources: local ranchers' chicken, eggs, goat cheese, and milk (all of which are organic); locally caught fish and shell-fish; and many staples from Whole Foods and O.B. Market in San Diego, such as Lucini olive oil, whole-wheat flour and pasta, Bonne Maman jams, and much more.
Our house special is roasted chicken, which we serve in a casserole with side plates of veggies, home-made frites, yams, bearnaise sauce, Baja salsa (for those who want things spicier), and chile peppers from our garden (which provide delicious seasoning).
We also offer whole-grain pastas and various kinds of sauces (pesto, garlic, tomato, or butter), along with veggies, cheeses, bread, and locally caught shrimp, lobster or fish when in season.
We also offer fresh-made smoothies; fresh-squeezed orange juice; veggie dishes; country eggs (served with French cheese, spinach, potatoes, onions, and tomatoes); organic pancakes and crèpes; organic rice and beans; imported French cheeses; local ranchers' cheeses; home-baked baguettes and cakes; and much more.
Also, you can hire one of our assistants to cook, clean, and do laundry for you in your unit.
Please give us advance notice if you wish to request any of the above services. Of course, we must charge extra for these services.
Sandra's Restaurant
Right next door to us is Sandra's Restaurant, which is a town favorite for classical Mexican fare (Baja-style).
Sandra's offers home-cooked tacos, tortas, grilled steak, hamburgers, nachos, and more. Visiting surfers and locals sometimes gather at Sandra's outdoor patio during the summertime. Sandra's also offers take-away food and makes deliveries.

Cristy has been serving amazing Mexican food of all kinds for many years, including burritos, tacos, enchiladas, and various other plates. Every year, her customers return for more because her cooking is delicious and wholesome. The locals express a strong preference for her fish tacos, shrimp tacos, and enchiladas with various kinds of salsas. Cristy also offers take-away food.
